I started my career in art/drama since high school. As my career progressed in the arts and drama, I acted in several theatre plays.
After migrating to Australia, I decided to restart my career in the entertainment industry after 10yrs. I love to act, dance and I do kids entertainment shows on the weekend. I have been fortunate enough to act in a Punjabi film here in Sydney as well I have now been given the opportunity to pursue my interest and passion in broadcasting.

Hi I am Saloni. I started my career in the entertainment industry a very long time ago. During this time, I gained experience in comedy, acting, hosting, dubbing, entertaining, anchoring and voice overs.
I have had a wide variety of experience from being a finalist of a Punjabi comedy show “Laughter Da Master 2”, acted in a Punjabi shirt movie, hosted shows for international Punjabi shows to acting in Punjabi/Hindi stage drama here in Australia and many more. I have now ventured out to the world of broadcasting.

I studied electrical engineering. I work behind the scenes at Radio Chahat as technical support, organising all networking and IP systems and ensuring everything is running smooth.

I enjoy sports and problem solving.

She has worked as a former RJ with All India Radio (AIR FM Rainbow Jalandhar). She was also the former presenter of Khas Khabar ek Najar at Doordarshan (DD Punjabi Jalandar)

Sheila has decades of Broadcasting Experience behind her – she started broadcasting at a very first ever narrow-casting radio – Radio Navtarang in Newtown Sydney and from their she joined a Community Radio SWR 99.9FM. Her passion of broadcasting led her to join the Chahat Media Group.

Having the technology today, radio still remains the medium that reaches the widest audience all over the world in the quickest possible time and this is the reason few of us friends started Radio Chahat – “Dil Ki Chahat” a 24 hour 7 days online radio.
